Infamous William H. Bonney, aka Billy the Kid, was known for his gun slinging ways in spite of his young age. Though the legend that he killed 21 men (one for each year of his short life) has been disproved, his name is still among the best known from the Wild West. The hat itself is a nod to his outlaw ways, including a weathered look as if you've been striding down the dusty main street at high noon. Its hat band has leather and string stitch details for an intricate look. A pistol and bullets oval concho is reminiscent of his gun fighting ways.
