FROM SHEPARD FAIREYI’ve been friends with Kai of the artist duo Kai & Sunny for almost 15 years. We’ve collaborated several times over the years and I am always excited about the ways our different styles combine to make something unique. This “Wild Obey” print might be my favorite of our print collabs yet. The way the fine lines and floral elements mingle with the bold icon face creates an elegant sense of motion and ethereal depth. I love the colors and the gradient through the face and border. The complex interweaving of elements yields a result that is both bold and sublime. The prints are signed by me and Kai and include a Kai & Sunny chop in the lower right.
